    No UFO's here-yet.
20 years ago my Dad was terminally ill in hospital. I had to go home to Warragul from the Hospital where I'd been with him for a few days.
I grabbed a few hours sleep after sorting out the business and headed back to the hospital.
I was about 10 minutes away from the hospital and stopped at a red light when I felt dads presence in the car, there was no conversation, but I felt really peaceful as I thought about all of the good things we had done together and the good times we'd had.
I made it to the hospital only to find Dad had died at about that time.

I looked at Area 51 on google earth the other day, gee there is some strange stuff in that place.
Look at the holes in the earth where they have tested there big bombs and zoom in on some of them. Strange black cables that go into the centre of the craters, underground entrances in hill tops, just a weird place. pretty sure it was on youtube.
Dont know why they would let us see it on google though if there was mischief afoot...

My sister had a toy bird that when rocked, would tweet. It wasn't all that sensitive so walking past didn't trigger it but closing a drawer in the dresser it was on did. Her bedroom was down the hall from the kitchen.
One night, family all sitting around the table eating dinner, suddenly the bird tweets. Ten seconds later a glass beside the sink collapses on itself, shattering.
Next week in the newspaper we read that the former owner of the house died that night.

In Tassie, my sister refused to enter a touristy lighthouse, she was 4 years old at the time and nobody could work out why. She just flat out refused, fighting, screaming all those little kid things, but was quite happy to play outside. About 6 months later, they started giving ghost tours there.

I'm sure science will explain all this and more one day

I have seen a few things that I can't explain over the years. They have all been in the western country - Mitchell sw Qld and Mt Isa nw Qld. Probably the most interesting was when I was about 17 I was dam shooting on a property between Mitchell and St George and was lying on a mattress watching the sky while I was waiting for the roos to come in to drink. Looking for satellities was the thing to do in those days as there wasn't many of them around and it was a novelty to see one. Anyhow I saw this bright star/light moving across the sky and stopped just above the tree line. It remained there for several minutes then 3 smaller lights emerged from it and descended towards the ground. I kept watching it and about 10 minutes later the 3 small lights came back up into it and it did a rapid accelleration across the sky and disappeared. I can tell you the hair on the back of my neck was like a wire brush. Another night I was roo shooting in the station truck ( an old Fargo). It was winter and by about 1 in the morning I had about 20 roos on the back and decided to pull up for a cuppa and warm myself up a bit - my hand was frozen from holding the spotlight outside. Sitting there in the dark I was at peace with the world when suddenly I was in the beam of a spotlight which lit up the whole area. Thinking that a couple of my mates from the station next door had found me and had me in their spotlight beam I put my head out the window to see where they were and to my astonishment the light was coming from above me. When I looked up towards it it went out and there was nothing there. I drove back to the station at reckless speed I can tell you. Wouldn't go out spotting by myself after that experience. There was a lot of "UFO" sightings in that area back in the late sixties.

.....must be the only stuff that you can buy that doesn't have a "use by" or "best by" date on it

Probably the weirdest thing I have seen was coming out of Albany one night doing a bit of a short cut up to Salmon Gums, and both myself and the bloke in the truck behind me saw some ming ming lights,(think thats how you spell it). That was pretty freaky...had no trouble staying awake that night
Min Min Lights the road between Winton and Boulia (Q ) has been the cause of a few scares in the 1800's.Don't know if anyone has sighted any recently. I did drive down that road in the early 1960's something did feel strange but no sightings and yes I was sober

Had 33 and 695 when I was about 13 and believed every word of it, until years later when I did pure and applied maths and realised how dodgy some of the assumptions in BL's 'maths' really was.

And as for the monolith builders in his books......... have a look at this:
