Seen many years whilst driving from Gosford to Sydney, looking outside at night spotted a satelite. Following in the same direction, kept an eye on it... then it stopped, and sped at what I believe it speeds no man can achieve out to space.

Also got a video from a family member that shows a bunch of people (young) going to a famous train track with tunnel (all closed an unused) which is famous for spotting ghosts. The person filming was screaming hes head off as he could see what he was filming, the others didnt see anything with naked eye... until they also looked at the video screen and all started screaming. I saw the footage, a girl was standing there looking at them apparently she died on the tracks many years ago.

I'm the run of the mill,God fearing, Christ believer, good boy who never had time for ghosts and such. If I couldn't use my scientific brain ruler to touch and feel, they didn't fit my religious belief model. However, even I, in my newly acquired middle age, (just turned 40 ) cant deny a couple of instances. The two of note.

My Grandparents died when I was in my early teens. I was absolutely devastated, oldest grandson and all. Absolutely adored them. They died about 25 years ago within six months of each other. Id just got married around the tenth anniversary of their deaths. I had 5 nights of reoccurring dreams which scared the crap out of the new wife, as i was apparently rather animated. They had returned from the dead. The setting was ten years after their deaths though nothing had happened. Life with my parents and my aunts and uncles went on as though there was nothing out of the ordinary with them "disappearing" for ten years.

During the same time, numerous times I was in the yard of our new house and Pa who was a stone mason was laying the pavers in our new house or practicing his golf swing in the back yard. An aside is while were were actually digging up the area for the paving we found a stack of 1850s coins. Apparently it was where the original Windsor road from Parramatta went which deviated about 500m west of the convict built road (current bus lane)

We have since moved into a new house at Rouse Hill which is between Castle Hill and Windsor. The main drag ran close by. My wife first noticed and I thought she might have been, dare i suggest she who must be obeyed, a little well....NUTS

But to my amazement I now readily confess and comfortably accept, the house has a ghost.

A youngish woman, early twenties I reckon, not scary, not deformed, late 1700s, early 1800s I guess. I really don't know. But incredibly sad. The sadness is the most depressing feeling.

Aimlessly wandering, not engaging, not present and just the most amazing sense of dread and fright.

Scares the bejesus out of me. Doesn't appear she is attempting to frighten us but the sense is rather off putting.

Doesn't open doors or move things but things do wander. Has sat on the my bed on more than one occasion and i swear I've seen her walk along the corridor numerous times. My senses seem to feel an amazing amount of sympathy for her and though something incredibly tragic is about to happen to her.

Must confess I have been tempted on more than on occasion to try the video thing as others have done to see if something does get picked up. Probably would scare the crap out of me more if we did find something though.

    cheers
    mat

I'd reckon it'd be mandatory to believe in the supernatural if you're a Christian. Jesus' disciples thought he was a ghost when he walked on the water. Jesus had to correct them. He didn't say ghosts don't exist. Also, the witch of Endor helped king Saul talk to the dead prophet Samuel.

Probably the most interesting was when I was about 17 I was dam shooting on a property between Mitchell and St George and was lying on a mattress watching the sky while I was waiting for the roos to come in to drink. Looking for satellities was the thing to do in those days as there wasn't many of them around and it was a novelty to see one. Anyhow I saw this bright star/light moving across the sky and stopped just above the tree line. It remained there for several minutes then 3 smaller lights emerged from it and descended towards the ground. I kept watching it and about 10 minutes later the 3 small lights came back up into it and it did a rapid accelleration across the sky and disappeared. I can tell you the hair on the back of my neck was like a wire brush. Another night I was roo shooting in the station truck ( an old Fargo). It was winter and by about 1 in the morning I had about 20 roos on the back and decided to pull up for a cuppa and warm myself up a bit - my hand was frozen from holding the spotlight outside. Sitting there in the dark I was at peace with the world when suddenly I was in the beam of a spotlight which lit up the whole area. Thinking that a couple of my mates from the station next door had found me and had me in their spotlight beam I put my head out the window to see where they were and to my astonishment the light was coming from above me. When I looked up towards it it went out and there was nothing there. I drove back to the station at reckless speed I can tell you. Wouldn't go out spotting by myself after that experience. There was a lot of "UFO" sightings in that area back in the late sixties.
I was working on a property in Goodooga in the late 70s doing practical work while doing an Ag degree and used to go out spotlighting roos around the crops. One August night it was a moonless sky and the stars were blazing. I saw a very bright light out towards the horizon - in that flat country that can be quite a way at night. Suddenly it moved off at an incredible speed and then when it was about half way from where I saw it to where I was it stopped for about a minute then just went vertical at the same incredible speed. I watched it for another minute or so until it disappeared. I went home and changed the brown corduroys let me tell you.

On the ghost front, we used to share a house in Correys Ave in Concord with my partner - now my wife and another couple. On numerous occasions we used to lock the back door with the large bolt latch only to find the door open in the morning. You can only open it from the inside and none of us did it.

Other strange things used to happen like the dishes that we left on the table were stacked up on the side of the sink or glasses which we left on the coffee table would be on the kitchen table. My wife told me she woke one night to see an old woman standing at the end of the bed who just smiled and walked out of the room.

Our elderly neighbours who had lived next door for the past 45 years said when they moved in as a newly wed couple that the house we were in had an elderly widow living there and that she passed away by herself in the kitchen and was not discovered for a couple of days. I am getting goose bumps just remembering and typing this out.

You should have had a photo of Logray the Ewok shaman instead of Wicket W. Warrick. He really would have been the witch of Endor.

    That's the little freak.
