My whole world is Blurry !!!!

well it seems I've been diagnosed with a condition called "central seraus retinapathy".

I have fluid built up in my left eye and everything seems Blurry unless I cover my left eye.

I first noticed this condition after I had a few drinks with a mate whom dropped by yesterday afternoon for a Visit.

This morning I had turned up for work and seemingly everything was Blurry I asked to be excused to have my eyes examined by an optometrist and then referred to an ophthalmologist for further testing which revleaed a patch of Fluid built up in the centre of the left eye.

I've been told it "should" go away by itself and can take anywhere between 3-6 months. I got given a few contact numbers for a retina specialists so I need to make an app to see one. He/she will then monitor the condition and if the fluid leak gets any worse , they may need to operate using laser. but I'm told that 's the last resort as it is Risky.

Holy **** that's not good Hope you will be OK soon.
This is often known as CSR. I have had a dose of this as well a few years back. In my case was a slight build up of fluid under the retina. Took me over two months to get over it. I fairly sure my eyes are unharmed although will need glasses soon for fine work but at 42 I'm OK with that. I'm unsure of the cause and so were the specialist but I have blamed weld flash etc in my case.

There can be a few different factors contributing or causing it , one that I'm told is common is Stress . high stress can cause the built of Fluid under the retina.I personally know how much stress you've been under lately with the draughts and all that never ending work around the farm .

Hang on, you're developing leaks in places where they shouldn't be?

You're turning into a Land Rover!
