I bought one of these as a backup in case the AC air compressor even has issues. I tried it the other week and it did 4 tyres without a problem.Quote:

On outerlimits someone has just advertised a brand new, new style ARB one in the box for $130
I have the same as the "Outback Devil" which I purchased from Supercheap a few years back, I have used it many, many times and have no problems recommending it as far as I can see it is identical to some models costing twice as much, Regards Frank.
Look on ebay, there is that exact model sold by one or two mobs. I picked one up for less than $70 including shipping. Pumps up the 35's in a fraction of the time of my poor little ancient(but reliable- though it does smell like burning plastic when it's done) ARB puppy. Seems to do the job well.
I have what is now the $70 unit from supercheap, had it longer than big red and its still doing duty. Its copped a flogging and has even been used to charge air tanks to run rattle guns and it will also inflate the blast tank I made but that takes about 15 minutes to get to 100ish psi.
so by all accounts the supercheap ones would be fine for the ammount of use that I would give it. I think it's false economy going any higher in specification for that I do. Just debating if I get the $70, go the next one up, or look a the T-max.
I think the SCA one will get the nod because at least I can take it back for repairs etc to a local store. Thanks for all of your help folks :D

Will pump up a flat 35" tyre to 40psi in 5 minutes on a 35c day and the pump was still cool enough to touch without getting burnt. I am not sure how long it will last but it does work great.
If I was going top shelf equipment, at the moment I would go the bigger ARB but it costs but does have top performance.
