as for death wish, it looked very controlled and he knew what he was doing.

Yes it looked that way "controlled" but my experience in life ( professional rescue person) taught me that anything man made has a very high % of failure and letting you down.Would have needed only a match stick on the road for him to lose control and then " Blat "Some poor Bastard then has to clean up the mess.
