aviation turbine fuel is same thing as Jet A1, I was being general, military spec aviation turbine fuel is of a slightly different formula again with an inhibitor called FS11 in it but it still worked in the tractors and kero heaters.

Not really, its just had some of ^^^^^ that stuff in it. But it may kill the bug but it also kills rubber so storage once mixed can be a problem. Even with smaller jets it’s mixed in the hose. military premix but then they are set up for it. BIG jets have heated tanks and fuel lines so they don’t use it.Quote:
