    Home made 4x4 Track

Due to the fact i live on a decent amount of land with many 4x4 trials on it i love getting out in my little Zook and giving it hell. But i have often thought it would be great to build my own man made course (much like at 4x4 shows and comps)...

Then it got me thinking... Has anyone else on here done this? thought of it? Got an idea in their head?

    James.

We've got a bobcat and a bit of land and i gave it a go the other day, i made some good flex piles and another just messy section which came too a big pile at the end (which i ended up getting beached on haha) but that was about as far as i got, was also going to ask this same question.

the local 4wd club have been slowly doing the same thing at my folks property.
In fact the christmas do was held there with some 4wd type games.
The 4wd course consists of some axle articulation holes and mounds and then some logs which must be driven over.
A old dam has been used as a bog hole.
The latest thing we have been working on is a steep hill climb.
The hill climb only Two lifted and modded 60 series toyotas have made it.
My 101 didnt want to know about it....lockers or not.
My old stock bog 1960 Willys CJ6 open diff Jeep made it too.
It has been a slow thing to do as we have little gear to do the work for us.
The talk is now of setting up some old tyres to drive over.

My ideas have been very similar to you comments there Ron...

I have been thinking it would need:

    1. Strategically placed holes and mounds for articulation
    2. Some sections for side slopes
    3. Tyre Pit
    4. Logs
    5. Steep incline/decent
    6. Water crossing/Bog whole
    7. Also always loved them seesaws

What else could be added? maybe a rock pit...
