:)I had the electrician come out a year ago to repair my hot water heater,he told me the thermstat had packed it in,BUT he could not get one ,for this model because they dont make them any more......so he made one up to suit (good country electrician for ya)he told me this company dont make these any more (its a TURBON unit)any way I asked him how old the water heater was, and he said about 60 yrs old........not bad........and that was the first time the thermstate was replaced;)
Turbon were made in Cavendish Rd. Coorparoo by the Uscinski family. Turbon is still in business there as metal spinners and also make letter boxes. They have not made water heaters for decades. Don't know who runs the shop now. Ilie is dead, Peter would be quite elderly if still alive.
Junkers instant gas hot water heater. Did replace the heat exchanger about twenty years ago.
