    The presentation and the navigation.

I started using the BOM site years ago, but found there were others that presented the BOM information in a more helpful way.

I often wanted to know the temperature, the wind strength and direction, the tides, the wave and swell height and the likelihood of rain all at once.

I used to be able to get those from a couple of sites. Now it looks as if I can get all of those things from one site.

I still go to the BOM site for the radar images of rain.

anyone know a good site for sea temperature?

I do have one where you click on the map but it's not very accurate due to the small map

The one I nost commonly use is Ocean Currents (CSIRO) but depending on where you are determines how much detail you get, but I have always found it good enough

Having a look around at the WillyWeather site, it certainly seems a little easier and more user friendly than the BoM site.

Well ill test its 24 hour predictive ability for Ribbons Reef no.2 and report back to AULRO some time next week

Forecast looks great for our leaving Cooktown 'bout 8pm tonight for a NYE reddie bash followed by morning popper session!
