    Status Quo Range Rovers

Channel surfing yesterday and stumbled across a Staus Quo documentary.

Love em or hate em it was an interseting doco. What merits mention here though is the piece of footage whith all five band members each driving a Range Rover (2 door) in convoy; they leave the country lanes and hoon all over a few fields fo a bit (getting some air at one stage)

Just wondering if anybody else caught it?

It looked like the video for one of their songs but I couldn't be sure.

Yep.... saw the doco but must have missed the bit with the Rangies in it. Noticed the boat one of the members was using on the river when he was allowed into England because of tax reasons??? (only three months per year) Not the sort of boat I would have thought a "rocker" would have used in his youth!!!
Good on them I thought... still obviously having fun making music and being in a band. Not many people can say they still enjoy their job after so many years doing the same thing but the money obviously helps.

Whatever you want, whatever you need.......................
take your rangie down, down, deeper on down.........
    again and again.............
Just don't let it roll over, lay down.........

Took the wife to see Quo at Sydney Entertainment Centre a 5 or 6 years ago and they are still rocking all over the world.
I rank Pink Floyd as the best band bar none and then Deep Purple and Status Quo share second spot.
I've seen Roger Waters from Floyd in recent years (never got to see the Floyd) and the music was excellent. I saw Deep Purple a few years before that, and Smoke On The Water blew the roof off.
But Status Quo were the best live band of them all. It was an absolutely brilliant show.

    Long live rock and roll.

    Steve
