    Body type: Station wagon
    Wheel base: 109in
    Engine: 6-cylinder
    Model years: 1966-1971
    Destination: Completely knocked down (CKD), right-hand drive (RHD)
    01103 Serial number
    G Design: Six significant design modifications
    Suffix used from April 1969 till October 1971

    Should have a sals rear end being a six with a few other tricks I hope

    I have no dramas with your suggestions. As I said before lets see what we end up with here. If its to far gone for me to take on I'll ask you guys to chip in and it will be put along side of its older brother in effect Either way it will be available to the public to see. If I keep it.. It will be trailered to places of interest at my expense

    I have an identicle vehicle,'67 2a with the sidevalve 6 with SU carb,mine doesn't have the sals rear end,they didn't arrive till the series 3. Pat

    That is not entirely correct. Some late 2A 109 Sixes did infact have have the sals. 69 onwards,I've seen heaps of them over the years

    Ah all the talk of this vehicle has made me very curious. Will have to go for a journey into Newcastle tomorrow and have a good look. I will take pictures for myself, but shan't divulge in the interests of letting the mystery unravel in good time!

    Check LROCS gallery photo MLeylandLandy2 could be the one at kotara I did see a short story once about this photo and LR but cant find it now seems there was two trucks on that trip.

    im am happy either way but like you said im going to see whether it is to far gone for me to take on as i already have alot on my plate so today ill try ang get you and me more info,everywhere there is rust and how bad and what will need replacing and even though it has a 6 cyl in it it is a holden one.sorry i cant get any pics but if you can find a pic on the net it is a cream coloured station wagon 2a with a green bonnet andthe rear guard is cut into a trapezium not a normal arch bonus also it has the original number plates ay....ill try and get the full number plate for you too
