So its not one that crossed the continent but was used in thier later TV docco's.
Even then not for long,as the Leylands dumped Landies in favour of Jeeps pretty quickly - no doubt a cash incentive was involved.

the leyland DVD's are reguarly on ebay and there is a heap of them including ask the leyland brothers from the 70's with the VW campers:o
the one in the birdwood meuseum was donated by Mal Leyland (dec) which is documented in the east-west crossing DVD at the end;)

Only the coolest TV doco series ever, and with the coolest vehicles ever. IIRC, the wagon, AYI 077, had the longer spring hangers like the army 2As and water tanks in the front mudguards. The table top was AYI 056?Quote:
