I have always noted with interest that our Motorcycle Coppers wear the normal shirt and 'leggings'. I would have thought that wearing leathers would be a must for any rider - especially one who will likely have cause to ride at higher speeds than most, and dodge traffic while soing so!
As an aside, I watched a motorcycle Ambo ride the wrong way down a busy one way city street a few months ago. Instead of picking a line and letting people move clear, he swerved left and right all across the three lanes, dodging oncoming cars and sending motorists and pedestrians scattering...
Surely not in the ASNSW handbook...
