Almost got the gravel carting finished today,100m short of the finish.
Once its all in I have to mix it (3km)with the original road form it all up and make sure its hard enough for the tar.
Not looking forward to mixing it,its the worse gravel Ive played with,no fines to bind it together.Luckily the original road has a pretty high clay content.Tar is booked for the 25th.

Coope sounds like your talking about a tanning centre in Sheffield:p we'll show the trawerman how to trawl Andy but first we'll make for the Isle of Arran for Vixen.
Did I mention that Aunty Potter(nee Smith) used to work in a woolen mill in Halifax, from when she was 8 yrs old worked as a scavenger who used to crawl under the machines whilst they were moving, very dangerous, she knocked some sense into her self many atime, only to loose what she'd amassed by bumping her head on libary shelf later in life.
she met Uncle Potter at the Peice Hall in Halifax one wet and windy Tuesday whilst out looking for men with three other mill workers, only to end up with 'him' as told the guests at there wedding, she had set her slights on an overlocker from Huddersfield way but by the time she'd saved up the bus fare to tell him he was already married with 6 kids.
Later in her life she progressed to being a bobbin in Sir Titus Salts mill in Bradford, and often travelled to far off places such as Todmoreden and once on a exchange bobbin trip to the Isle of Arran.
go on then climb up to crows nest Vixen, but no pickin and flickin ok;)
