Double check that you can swap them Carolyn. While it may be a 'rover' type diff, its not identical, and I cant recall if you can straight swap an earlier rover centre for a p38 type one that you will have.

I had to replace mine a couple of years back.Easy with the right gear but time consuming.I got the whole kit out from Paddocks..quite a lot cheaper then from here and that included the heavy duty clutch.

Just recently I was talking to a bloke with a 130 with Rover type diffs who had had the same thing happen. So just how common is this? Are there lots of others out there or do you still have to be a little bit unlucky?
Soooo, C. was it the diff or a half shaft?
