I have found their first quote on items is usually high but a bit of negotiating usually gets the price down to being very competitive.
I have been using them since the late 70s when they were over at Broadmeadow and can usually negotiate a suitable price.

Yeah, mate I know, that's why I tried to avoid them by going to the local mechanic that I have dealt with before. Unfortunately he does not have the diagnostic equipment to solve the ECU problems. Go to the Freelander Section and look at my thread on "Is My Automatic Transmission Stuffed" to see what is happening!!:(
triggs at carey bay have diagnostic equipment for rovers, you could have gone there
Well hopefully it doesnt run up to big a bill for you, i dont think i have ever been on a run with AULRO guys where we had a freelander come with us so that would be good to see :)
