Paddocks - great products, pitty about the freight!

I am looking at getting a stronger track rod and drag link for my fender. Paddocks have them with new balljoints for 65 pounds for the pair....but the freight quote came in at approximately 100 pounds!!!!

Still, even at the current exchange rate the total cost works out to be $300 which is a bit cheaper then buying locally...

Unless someone knows of a supplier in Oz that can better that price?

I was orginally thinking of sleeving the current ones with 3 mm walled tube. Anyone done this?

    Cheers

I have some custom ones Lokka makes, he has done them for a few others on here but not sure how much he does them for... prior to that i ran mine stock one sleaved with some square tube for about 6 months without a problem, the stock unit couldnt handle the big tyres and bent without even being snaged on one of the first trips i did on 37s.

Not sure how quick you need these.

I bought some D rings from UK (not paddocks) and had them surface freighted for a quarter of the price of airmail. You have to ask though or they'll quote airmail.

    Took about 2 months.

Mal. Leslie, at S.G.Leslie and Sons, 19 Mologa Rd. West Heidelberg 3081, 03-9459-2859 makes them. I supplied him with the taps and dies.
