I was up Wonnongatta last weekend and wombat spur was a doddle but Zeka spur was the worst I have ever seen it. My only advice would be to take plenty of recovery gear if towing a trailer up Zeka. Maybe a slight shange of plan and go out through to Bright and double back through Jamieson (yep it was that bad!!) Good luck and have a great trip.

Thanks for the information, I will be going down Zeka so hopefully it will be OK?

Holy long trips Batman.I thought travelling from the eastern suburbs to the high country a fair old drive.Basalt knob going up from Tallbotvile ,if you head that way,is also a dam good climb.Another excellent and not overly visited place to visit is Millers hut .You first have to drive over my Wellington(1600 mtrs).A defender took a trailer there and back ok.Disco retired hurt.Views across the top of the mountain are spectacular. So hope you have a safe and grouse trip.
