I thought travelling from the eastern suburbs to the high country a fair old drive.Basalt knob going up from Tallbotvile ,if you head that way,is also a dam good climb.Another excellent and not overly visited place to visit is Millers hut .You first have to drive over my Wellington(1600 mtrs).A defender took a trailer there and back ok.Disco retired hurt.Views across the top of the mountain are spectacular.So hope you have a safe and grouse trip.

For that day we will leave the trailers in Wonnangatta Caravan Park in Waterford and take the vehicles only........I'm looking forward to that circuit, am also changing my route from Mt Stirling to Sheepyard to take in Bindaree Falls/Hut instead of the easy way
