    Mate its never easy saying goodbye to a friend ....empthise how you feel after losing my first Samoyed after ten yrs, and my mally after 15..but its not about me !!...all the best mate from me and the missis....

    Very sorry about the news Simon, it is not easy when we loose a great friend, but he will be with you for ever.
    i still feel the pain of the lost of Clara, so I know how difficult times you are going trough.

    I have been there twice now and its tragic.

    whenever i see a winch cable come out i think of the first time i met Simba as she casually strolled under a taught winch cable, a group of landy owners all screaming to a deaf dog to get out of the way.

    My thoughts are with you. I know exactlly how you feel. A dog can be so much more than a pet and too many people do not understand this.
    They are often your best friend, unconditionally as well.
    The memories will last your lifetime as well.
