Yes after driving through the national park trying to find them, our neighbour had found them in the others neighbours field playing with the cow in the dam......I was just frantic, my biggest fear had come true. however they just had a great adventure and came back black as the ace of spades so all is good..

So sorry to hear Simon, I know exactly what you are going through, and I know that Simba knows you love her dearly.
I lost my dear Dana several months back, she was nearly the same age as Simba and the tears are welling as I type this.

Be comforted in the thought that while you will continue to miss the form, that which she truly is remains.
She will be with you always.

    Simon,
I feel your pain & the family sends you our condolences.
We know that all of our dogs become part of the family regardless of where you get/find the dog from. We have had our fair share of pets from the farm when i was young to dog's that were handed down due to a relative passing. We loved them all. Played with them, threw hte ball & did lots of thing that will keep in our memories.
Do the same & remember Simba, She was & will always be your best friend.

    Love the Sniegs.

    Simon and Simba's friends,

I am not a hard man but it is not often I shed a tear, perhaps it is because I have shared in that bond that we have with our unconditonal friends that I feel for you and a tear runs down my face.

Although like many on here we don't know you, but through that window that is AULRO we do. We shall toast to Simba as she makes her way to run with our past best friends.

Ahh...crap....saw the heading and was hoping it wasn't going to be what I thought it was....sorry to hear mate...I feel your sorrow......at least she went peacefully....my boy of 8 yrs also died in my arms but due to horrific injuries. It really is a sad time but then the happy memories kick in ,
