Standard tyres that came with the Puma, winch, bullbar and HD springs and normally run fronts at recommended pressures.
Hey all,
I got my bullbar fitted the other day, I only have standard springs but have not noticed any issues yet with the extra weight.
One thing though I have the standard Tyres on it (2009 puma) they are now looking a bit bulgy on the walls (front ones obviously) any ideas what I shoud increase the preasure to or even if I should?
cheers
Patrick.

Tyre services always recommend maximum pressures, which are usually too much. If you consult the manufacturer, or the Tyre and Rim Association of Australia ( www.tyreandrim.org.au ), you will get the optimal pressure for weight. Overinflation may extend the tyre life under some conditions, but the tyre is also an intergral part of the suspention. Eliminating this part of the suspention can create other problems, more than negating the monetry gains found by extending tyre life. Other disadvantages are increased risk of star or impact fractures, reduced grip under some conditions and harsh ride.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
I have a bullbar, winch etc on the front and have never really adjusted the tyres. Just keep the same pressures and watch the tyres for any wear.
