    4WD permits.

    In Wednesday's Northern Star Newspaper, page 5, [www.northern star.com.au] is an article headlined "Council to put brakes on 4WDers. New permits system get nod at Lennox's Seven Mile Beach."

    this article says it will cost $55-- for an Anual permit. A 30 day permit will be available for $22--.

    Just thought you guys may want to know.

    That's a shame as we go there a bit.
    But what a joke...there's only about 3 or 4 k's of beach you can drive on anyway.
    There should be a permit for councillors breathing, and not necessarily an automatically approved one.

    That's a bit rich for the annual. Stockton Beach is only $30 PA ...

    ... or $10 for 3 days.

    There's lots of money to be made from Beach Vehicle Permits
