    Smile Feelin' the lurve

Driving back from an outing after work this evening, dusk after a warm day (29 deg) lots of bugs and moths in the lightforce beams, 100km/h, window open and the glorious 4BD1 turbo whistle at a lazy 2200rpm. Only another RRC owner will know how the driving position feels; right arm on the door top,and hand on the wheel. Left arm on the seat arm rest with the hand draped over the top of the LT95's shifter in top gear. Could stay like that ALL day and have done in my younger days. Cool breeze in the window and the green dash lights gently illuminating the instrument cluster.

Noticed the speedo clocked over 380K, remembered all the trips and places we've taken her, and the previous owner has recounted to me some of HIS adventures in it too since buying it new in '92.

Feeling pretty attached to the old girl
