I prefer my experience where a package was sent from the east coast of Australia to me here in the UK. Delivery was 4 days door to door which was a record as it usually takes the post about 7 days to arrive here. What made this one really stand out was the person who sent it forgot to put any stamps on it and the UK Royalmail never asked me to pay either!
Or the item purchased via internet off a major retail chain here in the UK. At no extra cost they offered tracking by their contracted delivery company. Could see it on the internet and so knew that they had collected it from the retailer same day. Only took a futher 11 days before it left the delivery company depot to make the journey to me which was about an hours drive from where I live.
Strathalbyn and Mt Barker are 2 places that mail tends to go AWOL.
Both have namesakes in SA and WA. I thought this would be remedied by postcodes, but apparently not.
