6K for 160kms!!!! where were you when I was looking for a truck???? I'd have taken it in a flash! I paid $13k for a 95 Def with 200k on the clock. Don't regret it thought. Take any prospectives buyers for a trip in the bush and you'll sell it in a instant

What a bargain. $6K and 160K kms. If I had the money I would take it in a flash as I have just had my 300TDI written off by insurance and am in the market for another, but alas the insurance payout won't be that high and I am unable to raise that much cash. I will have to go for a V8i as they are much cheaper than the TDI.
I paid $7k for my (now deceased) '96 TDI with 250K kms on it 2 years ago.
Someone will come along and realise the bargain to be had and snap it up.

They are slow. I will never forget driving mine for the first time. Glad I didn't try to make a fast right hand turn against traffic in it. Previous vehicle was a V8 fairlane so I felt the difference. I concur though with the fact that you get use to it.

If I really need to get going I make sure I've got some revs before engaging the clutch but it's so nice to drive, I'm never in a hurry.
