Look at my post on the topic below this one....my camera is "wired"...and I haven't set it up yet, the GPS side of things works very well.
cheers
Hi, Has any one had any experiencies with the 7" HD LCD GPS units on ebay. Has a lot of functions and possibly will run my oziexplorer. For around the $270 mark they present well for a poor mans Hema. The wireless reversing camera would be great for hooking up to my campa. Going for a drive down the Canning in August, I wonder if their robust enough. I'm sure the TD5 will be. Thanks, Geoff

installed a 7' combo gps unit into my 01 td5 a while back and it works very well... although it was a bugger trying to fit it in the first place.
see my previous post gps/navigator for laptop
with regard to running oziexplorer, these units generally have winCE as the core operating system and they tend to have limited functionality which is confined to running only a couple of programs.
There are 'workarounds' on the web with regard to unlocking the operating system to be able to use such programs as oziexplorer but the risk of 'bricking' your unit in the process is a little too high for some.
You could use an external notebook pc and feed the video into the units video input for convenience or just buy eg, a 10" netbook pc for around $400 and sit it on top of the dash (or make a mount) and use this with ozi and a range of other programs ... in my case I wanted to have Rave at my fingertips.
