got 2 of them in my hand seems they run a version of mio pocket already I'll be setting them up with Ozzi & a few other things. I'll do a report thread on them after
If the box shown in the link is anything to go by, it's the same manufacturer as the Knav I've just bought.

Hi I have an Evergrow c947 5" 128mb ram with WinCE 6, I have after a long search finally been able to get Tom Tom to work on mine with the 2010 map It can work but you have to use modified versions. but you run the TT7Navigator.msr file rather than the exe file.
    just google wince 6 tomtom

    try http://www.mobilepassion.org/viewtop...672b11827f6a27

    hope this helps

Just an update re the Knav below:

To sum up, it's crap...even for the price. I'm on my 3rd unit (2nd replacement) after the first died and the 2nd unit's USB interface failed. The third is not much better but so far (2 days) it still works.

Has no probs at all running Ozice and the display is nice and clear, although far from bright enough on a sunny day. Battery run time (1700ma) is ~ 30 minutes.

I'm far from impressed with Ozice compared to how my Garmin Venture works, but I'll persevere and maybe get used to it.

Anticipating this, I went to ebay and just this minute taken delivery of a 6" Knav, $180 on Ebay.

600mhz, 128mb ram, CE6.0, wifi, bluetooth, blah, blah. The only test I've done is to make sure it turns on, which it does, so there's a win!

Prelim discussion had with Ranga re what to do now but the aim is to get Oziexplorer and Hema 4WD maps onto it.

    Cheers.

    GPS in D3 Cubby

    Hey guys ...

Resurrecting an old thread rather than start another - but five years on, what's the best advice to adding an aftermarket GPS into a D3 cubby space in-dash?

I have found a series of Navmans that support 4WD mapping, but I'm keen to extract some real-world experience, rather than wander around and make more mistakes :-).

    Thanks in advance.

A navman with win ce can be hacked snd then run various programs, an android tablet may offer better flexibility.
