I've just had a quick look around that site (there's a lot there) ... where exactly do I find the 25K maps ? - thanks.

Geoscience Australia only have the 250K mapping. A couple of years ago they were supposed to be releasing the 100K series as rasters but so far nothing has happened beyond releasing the ACT.
For the 250 mapping download the ECW file and convert using the mud map Map converter program on the PC.

Thank you...
you can get you 25k ones from here

I can't say that I've ever used MudMap as I have never felt the need to go away from Oziexplorer. The android version is only $25 USD and is compatable with the pc version.
I have converted my Qld Sunmap 25k maps to suit the android version with track and waypoints able to be exchanged between desktop and tablet. The whole of Qld is only 1.3 GB. You can calibrate and save any map in the desktop version of Ozi then export it to the tablet version.
I use Ozi for multiple uses including bushwalking, kayaking, fishing, land search and fire ground mapping operations and of course 4wd and touring.
I started using it last century and would be lost with out it.

Had the original mudmap then upgraded to mudmap2. I have it in my Iphone and my only criticism is that the display is too small ... the joy of being in my 50's!
Going to get an Ipad mini which should do the trick without being too bulky. The system is excellent and very easy to use, I don't leave home without it ;)
Hi everybody I am thinking about putting a mapping system on my ipad anyone out there with any ideas
Thanks
