Yes - I received the same - only applies to older models not newer ones. We have 3 garmins in my family and only the one purchased back in 2013 applies - one bought in 2017 and one in 2021 will still get updates.

Glad newer ones will continue updates as I have a Garmin GPS on my bike.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

I recently bought updated maps for about $20 from ebay for my Garmin.

The GPS was bought in the UK a number of years back when on holiday so it didn’t have Oz maps - it was cheaper than hiring one from the car rental company.

I have always been a Garmin user.

Their older products were rock solid.

Wouldn’t touch their new Navigators, too many little issues.
And in multiple updates, including being directly notified of the changes, they still insist on one way streets that haven’t been for 12 years or longer.

Only their units suffer this stupidity.
