AULRO Subscriber Offer - cheap on-road/off-road GPS units

I still havn't ordered our's yet, still deciding on which one to go with, i'll wait for you to test the faster unit then go from there....:)

P.s what do you use bluetooth for on a GPS?

Does the updated firmware come in english,as i dont speak chinese?LOL.Ive run version 2 of the gps menu and most of it is in chinese,does the updated firmware change it?

I was a bit concerned about this also. I was pleased to find that out of the box it's been only english. I haven't seen a single chinese character on the device yet.

Ive actually bought the 500mhz model,and when ive put version 2 on it quite a bit of it is chinese and im only guessing some of it.

So has anyone used this update on the 500mhz model,as im having trouble getting it to work?

G'Day All,

I ordered a 372Mhz version on the 1st and got it today, the 14th. As it came from Hong Kong, I reckon that's pretty quick.

I've attached photos of what was in the box. (I put a highlighter in each of the shots to act as a scale.)

The GPS itself looks quite snazzy but I haven't turned it on yet to see how it works.
