Completely off topic, but whats norfolk island like? what would a junker car cost to trek around in? what about work, for someone who is handy with most anything? in particular electrickery:D dear to live?
Hmmm, holiday possibility:angel:
Junker car can be picked up for around $500 - $700. Heaps of work, wages are pretty low, but good place to come and work for a few years. Food is expensive as it has to be freighted in by ship, but rent is cheap. Easy, relaxing lifestyle. Very friendly locals. Not much night life, pubs and clubs shut at 11pm or later if they have entertainment (local bands). Spectacular scenery and the fishing is great! Not too many places at the moment for 4WDing but we are working on it. If wanting to come for a holiday check out www.travelcentre.nf as they are a wholesalers and can get discounted holiday packages (flights/accommodation/hirecar).
