I called in to Iveco Adelaide yesterday to see if the new model was available in the 4x4 model (it is already here in the 4x2 models) but I got told "not until 2016". Seems to still be coming out with drum brakes on the rear too (according to the salesman).

Had a sit in the new style cabin on a 4x2 and it looks very tidy. If you are used to European cars, it feels a bit plasticky and flimsy, but not horrible at all.

Expected price is just a bit more than the current model 4x4s.
Yes the 2016 new model still has non-ventilated front rotors and Rear drums,
but the penny has finally dropped and they decided at last to drop the troublesome rear load proportioning valve. Anyone that knows brakes knows its not needed with ABS. ( I took mine off in Alice Springs) There is a new aftermarket conversion for larger front rotors - something I dreamed up 12 months ago ( made and designed in Australia ) will post in a new thread when I get the story on my pages first. Also being E6 it has SCR as well as the EGR / DPF and only a single VNT turbo. Adblue tank takes up a bit of space that you would otherwise use for a Long Range tank on the E5 model.

These thing are gaining popularity fast.

Now this is what I call road side assist.

Canning Stock Route Warranty Callout - MR4X4
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

There is another report on the Exploroz forum in the last few days that says there is another Iveco stuck on the CSR with broken radiator support brackets.

Iveco are soon going to get sick of CSR recoveries.

From what i have seen of LR's warranty, they would have got it sorted as well(if it was an LR vehicle),but it would have had to go to the nearest stealer.
