Iveco Daily 4x4 5 years on

When Harry Temple was here a few months ago doing the article on my EV Landy for Unsealed 4x4 he killed 2 birds with one stone.

Talking what about new model Iveco

    Hi,
the MY19 model Iveco will apparently have four wheel discs, IFS and an auto option along with a lower tray height I believe--will this make it a better proposition? I have been told due June/July.

Yes 4 wheel Vented discs (hooray)

The MY19 only has a gradability of 30 degrees where the current & previous models had 45 degree .

The IFS is the same design as the early (pre 2006 ) 40-10 4x4 models ,

and a dual range chain drive BorgWarner TC ( ala P38 / Jeep Cherokee) fitted to the gearbox instead of the divorced quad range SCAM TC in ours.

No way it will be an off road weapon & questionable on Corrugations but theres a big market & they will sell. Crap Iveco service don't seem to put people off.

So will they offer the original spec 4x4 alongside or are they scrapping it all for the Sprinter 4x4 van style platform?

SCAM stopped building the Iveco Live axle 4x4 a few months ago . Any remaining stock are just about sold.

SCAM still make their SM35 & SM55 4x4 Live Axle truck. The 55S17W Iveco Daily 4x4 is really a SCV SCAM SM55 with Daily bodywork.
The Extreme All Terrain Vehicle Experts - SCV

Only the IFS version going ahead . They will have Cab Chassis & DC Ute as well as the Van.
