Nope.
It's a PITA.
On a D1 the beeper is controlled by the driver's door switch. When I work on one I unscrew or tape over the door switch so I don't go nuts. I thought of fitting a toggle switch in line with the door switch, turn it off when you want the door open, mount it horizontally beside the dash so when you shut the door it flicks the switch back on.
Nup... still can't do it.:Thump:
Thanks all for trying to help but i've given up.... if i can't find the answer here, it a lost hope.
i think it's the car... there are a few odd things, like 2 x 12v plugs at the front, none at the back of centre console, and no front passenger cup holder under the side air vent.
And i'll also cuss that key in ignition ding.
could always go the the wreckers and buy a seatbelt buckle and plug that in when driving around the farm, then store it in the center console until next time
**I'm spelling it boing so we don't get confused**
Fuse 40 in the passenger compartment (Tan 5A) is the Ignition Key Sensor circuit. Removing the fuse stops the boing with the key in, ignition off. However on ACC the boing returns. Still - its a partial win.
Perhaps blood sacrifice to Joe Lucas the Prince of Darkness will produce an answer.

Also on first use of the fuse removing tool, tie a piece of string to it and tie the other end off to something firm - like Greece's national debt. I didn't and now I have to pull the dashboard out to get it back! :bangin:
Thirdly.
I accidently pulled out fuse 41. The park brake sensor fuse. On start up I am getting a Park Brake Warning. The fuse is OK and back in and the PB functioning normally but I can't get rid of the warning. Any Clues? The nearest dealer is 150km away and I don't feel like a drive tonight. [bawl]
At least ANZAC day was good.
