OBriens had the LR ones in stock when mine was replaced a couple of weeks ago.
Just did 1600kms in the D4 and went flawlessly and the easiest long distance I have ever done. Awesome!
On the topic of the thread, copped a stone from a passing semi, and got a big star and crack spread quite quickly. I have just called Windscreens O'Brien and got a quote for $1298... will keep you in the loop for any updates and get some quotes from the dealer on Monday.
Anything else to look for aside from new A-Pillar clips and to ensure the rain sensor is crystal clear? This will be an insurance job, so I will be ensuring it is original LR Pilkington glass.

If you have a rain sensor get it changed at the same time.
Just make sure you go OE and not after market. You should always choose the glass option on vehicle insurance (but your insurer may only be willing to pay for after market) You then have to hassle with them about the cost.
Here's a quick update:
Good News:
- AAMI Windscreen Protection does not exclude the D4
- AAMI Windscreen Protection includes the rain sensor
- There are no aftermarket windscreens available for D4, so all suppliers get the original from the LR Spare Parts dept
- There seems to be stock around - I called last night to arrange an appointment, and this morning by 8:00am they already had arranged the windscreen to be delivered before noon (the installer is down the road from the LR Dealer)
Bad News:
- I didn't take out windscreen protection before the incident
- So I need to pay the standard Excess
Good News
- The excess can be paid for from my lease - so at least it's not the full amount
- I can start the windscreen insurance after this incident
Lessons Learnt:
I will be taking out the windscreen protection insurance. At $50/year, if I score 1 windscreen in 10 years I am still ahead.
Whats this rain sensor you talk about?
Dorko
The one that automatically switches on the windscreen wipers when you have auto selected when it rains or a bugs smashes on the screen in front of it - is mounted up in front of the rear vision mirror - it detects the change in the light path caused buy a drop of water on the screen in front of it - or as I said a splatted bug.

Cheers, So when you get the front window replaced, does the sensor need replacing? or is it a recommendation?
Dorko
When I had my screen replaced Swan Insurance has windsreen free to a limit of (I think it was) $500,left me to pay about $700, so obviously put in claim and paid excess $350.
Just check if there is a limit, before you part with the $50.
Cheers Ken
