Rhino platform on custom 3D printed mounts that result in the platform being around 15mm above the roof at its highest point. I can stand on the platform and it will not deflect enough to hit the roof.

Yep, made with a Balco 3D Printer from Kogan. Each mount takes around 30 hours to print, so not a fast process. I have made several prototypes to get to a design that is strong enough for general usage. They now need a coat of paint as the ABS plastic is not rated UV stable.Quote:

Next 3D projects include a shroud for the centre touchscreen to stop sun glare, and I have been working on a removable Raised Air Intake that fits over the guard vent and clips onto the A pillar.
I am very interested in your RAI idea, especially if using your printer you could design a mirror image as I have a V8 D4 which draws air from both sides. I know nothing about 3D printers but I keen to know more.Quote:
