Hi All,

After reading all helpful posts here thought I'd better add one of my own. We picked up our MY12 3.0TDV6 HSE just before Xmas and have been loving it ever since. Have driver all manner of Toyissan Bitsas over the years but they don't come close to the D4. Took me a year to talk everyone concerned into getting one but we all love it now.

Took it for it's first trip off road to Gardens of Stone national park up near Lithgow and it took everything in it's stride.

Looking forward to taking it some more interesting places and spending some more money on it!!!!

Did you swap your front grill?

From memory that's the grill the Limited model came out with Rich. Very nice bit of gear with all the bells and whistles if it is.

A question Parkes, have you seen the thread in the Trips section regarding the D3/4/RRS Lithgow trip next weekend? Why not come out and do a day trip with us?

Spot on Terry, it's one of the HSE Luxury models, front grill is same colour as the rest of the car. Got a great deal on it and ended up being not much more than a standard HSE except with a heap more shiny things. Salesman must have had the Christmas spirit in him or something similar.

Just had a look at the trip away and it sounds fantastic, I would be keen to come but have a 4 month old at home so getting away for the whole day is a problem at present. Would be keen to come to the next one though, will keep an eye on the upcoming events. Have fun and looking forward to seeing some pictures!!

We tried sleeping under the stars but the clouds of mosquitoes put an end to that.

Shame there are no waterfront camp spots anymore.
