I've had two, the first one delivered 9-10 litres per 100 kays and the one I have now which I purchased new in 2003 uses 8 - 8.5 litres per 100. I have considered chipping it but am a little apprehensive about cracking the head or doing some sort of damage to the engine. Increased fuel economy would be welcomed with open arms, as for power more would be good but I can live with what it delivers. I quiet often tow a car float with a Land Rover on it and an increase in power may hopefully mean better fuel economy under those conditions. At present it delivers about 20 litres per 100 kays when towing.
Cheers, Mick. :)
