Unless there is really something special about the ECU on the 3 litre you will not need to send your ECU to him - you buy his kit and download the engine MAP and email it to him - he then does his work on it and sends it back to you and you load it into the car. When you put your car in for work you put the original map back in - when you get it back from the work you reload your BAS map.
