Oooh I really like that, thank you for that Grentarc, appreciated Great Job.

That breaks things up nicely having the black contrast.

The black loops might be less glare reflecting back from headlights, maybe Mike could comment on this, do you get any glare from the White loops Mike ❓

I cant see my ARB bar on my D3 from the drivers seat so I cant see you suffering from any glare reflecting off a white bar

I can only see the tops of the verticals, the horizontal top tube is below the line of sight. That is the new ARB bar on the late model D4. Personally I don't like the two tone look.

Had my ARB bar fitted today. From the drivers seat you cannot see the top bar, just the top of the two pillars. Spotlight brackets are very close to the bonnet, if you get a roo hopefully it does get pushed back at all or the bonnet will get it. Other than that it looks good.

    Looks good.

The brackets close to the bonnet would be aerial brackets though (although I suppose you could mount a LED bar up there if you wanted to) - spotlights are mounted directly to the main channel of the bar. The older ARB bar (as I have) did not have these brackets for this exact reason - they are too close to the bodywork. Instead, two aerial mounting positions were provided (holes drilled & had rubber bungs installed) on the section of the main bar which wraps around the side of the vehicle (behind the hoops). Yours is a different shape in this area though (appears to be the only real difference between the new and old designs, other than the larger fog lights), and it doesn't look like you can mount aerials in these positions.

    Cheers .........

Bloody suicide Roos, I can't get my bar quick enough. They just run right in front of you or into the side of your vehicle.

First trip to farm and had one run into the side, cracked my front flare. I'm hoping that the flare gets cut off above this crack when they fit the ARB Bar. Lucky I was going slow otherwise that would have been worse

At least you don't have to worry about that first scratch anymore. Lucky there wasn't more damage.
