Correct you are. I had a friend in the States who was telling me about a hollow bellows that a new shocky threaded through the middle. After a little more reserch on that, this product is still in the R & D stage at this time. His mate is on the project and it looks like it is not going ahead.Quote:

Funny thing is that I thought that fixing the pipes would make some noticeable difference since one was squashed to about 1/2 its diameter, but it made no difference in performance or noise.

Thanks for the info guys. I just assumed an upgraded exhaust would improve performance. It did on my old Navara, but this isn't a Navara! Please excuse my ignorance.
Looks like the bellows are out too. I wanted them so the rear end wouldn't sag while towing my boat. We'll see if the upgraded suspension helps stiffen things up a little.
Any suggestions on suspension?

No. not so obvious. It is a TDV6. I had hoped to gain some power but it seems as though I was mistaken. Thanks to everyone here for educating me. I'm am glad of this forum doing so. This is my first Land Rover and may need more education in the future.

For springs try King Springs, check the website and you will find they make various rated and height springs for the coiler D3. Ordered through a popular automotive chain store you will find them at a realy good price in fact super cheap ;) With the right combination you will gain ride quality, height and load carrying capacity at the rear.
