Sounds great....
That must be the ZF they were planning to fit or have fitted to the V8 RR oilers....right?
My wife's pug has arm rests......which are fantastic on the cruise.....they'd be brilliant in my D4.

I purchased an ex.demo 3.0ltr D4 about 3 months ago and while its the basic model, without some of the extras you'll enjoy, I just love this thing.
I moved from an 07 Pathfinder and stretched a little to make the purchase but the two vehicles are simply worlds apart. I work in constuction so the thing gets muddy but in contrast, I also took the family of 7 to a show last week in style and comfort. Fuel consumption around 9 and all the power I will ever need. Everything has a sense of quality even under the bonnet that leaves you wondering if the Brits really make them. Only time will tell if my enthusiasm wavers but so far so good. I hope you enjoy yours as much. :)
Congrats on the D4 purchase.
For others info a bloke I know bought a full fruit D4 HSE for $105K on road last year.
I don't know if the electic seats have memory for different positions, but I like the manual adjuster as it's faster to get into the right position with a couple of quick cranks of the lever. I also don't like the knob-adjusters as it's too much effort to get the seat to lay back for a nice nap.
I would have thought they were the same as the Freelander 2? I had one of those before the Hail storm last year, and i loved the arm rest especially for long drives. I felt like a commander and chief! hahahaha
You are in the same boat as me Craig. Wife is a shorty and gives me the **** when she drives, she adjusts everything!

I love the armrests
Elec seats have memory for everything including side mirrors, but not inside mirror.
Cheers Ken
MY2012 SE will have electric seats. But they the price is going up by $2.5K.
ouch $2.5k.
I wonder what would be different in the HSE vs SE?

I have armrests in my car - I would not pay extra money to have them fitted. You cannot put your seat belt on with them down and they tend to be a bit low. I find the centre cubby box lid a much better armrest.
My seats are electric but no memory and find them quite good. It might be my imagination but I think they do move by themselves sometimes when the car is parked overnight - but you can get your seat into almost any position that suits.
