DSC doubles as tyre deflation detector.

Anyone know a way to turn off the monitoring? Wonder if the Faultmate will do it... even with new tyres and even pressures I still get 'the grind' on a couple of corners. Would love to turn this nonsense off it it was possible?

Might need to dig deeper because surely this can't be normal behavior except in the right conditions.

Try rolling a tightly blown up balloon over gravel, it dosnt last long. Now try the same with a balloon at 1/2 to 3/4 of the first pressure used. Its pritty hard to get it to pop, same as the tires on your car. Speed also plays a big part. Like jonesfam said less air, and slow down ( try taking in some scenery )

Agree, 38-40psi is above recommended for the vehicle. Old school thinking with LT construction tyres.
I have always found I get more punctures with higher pressures. I usually use 30psi on gravel.

The rear tyres are supposed to be at higher pressures than the front.

Perhaps there's a fault with the steering angle sensor that's making DSC think the vehicle is turning tighter than it really is.
