Just had a squiz on carsales - at the mo there's an 09 D3 SE TDV6 with 28 500 kms for $50k... Each to their own! Good luck with the Troll :)

everybody knows a tdv6 2009 se with 28,500km will be more than $50k.

*shrug* I bought a 6 year old D2 for $14k, put 30 000 incident-free kms on it and sold it for $16k... Still under 'market value' at the time. Ppl have their reasons :)

Don't get me wrong, BTW, I like Patrols, I think they're capable, honest and proven vehicles... I just lurve my Discos! :D

What an understatement.
Two of my mates that we go away with both have the same boats weighing in at around 1800Kg each. They also have the same vehicles (Nissan 3.0L Patrols).
My boat weighs in at around 2200Kg.
When we hit any sort of hill, they drop back to about 90Kph with engines revving their clackers out trying to maintain momentum, whilst mine stays at a constant 115Kph in overdrive.
After our 4 hour journey, the Patrol owners are tired and worn out, wheras I get there fresh as a daisy.
You can have your underpowered noisy bone jarring slugs, I'll stick with the Disco.:wasntme:
