OK with my ECB, which also has LED lights. The ECB still looks massive to me even though its been fitted for over a year.

My ARB will be going on this week (sitting in the workshop at home)...

No issues changing headlight bulb on the D3 with ARB bar...
LED in opposition bars are in the indicators only and dont prevent headlight changes

    Now - Something to consider...

The D4 has a beautiful "straight" profile from headlight / grill / headlight..

The ECB bar is curved hoop.. The ARB (and OL Knock Off) are Straight uprights...

The ECB ruins the lines of the vehicle front on... The ARB / OL bar uprights run in the join between Grill and Lights keeping the 'Squared' profile...

    So it looks neater

See how the lines are all messed up...

And here the uprights present themselves inline, keeping the front view 'clean'

    Talking Bull bar

Just had ARB install deluxe bullbar (& winch & LR tank & snorkel & kaymar kit) a few days ago. Very very happy.

ARB bar has a better approach angle now, and also looks like it betters the ECB bar for approach as well. (aside from aesthetics) Looks like ECb also ahve to remove cover to access recovery point as well.

    . Very happy camper

been a thread about it onhere, also a member on here had an issue changing a bulb with an ARB bar fitted.

I was also told this was the case by the local ARB shop not far from here last week,as i have been looking at D4 bars for the new arrival.

Even though this may be the case,i agree the ARB looks the go.

So is a Kangaroo through the grill...

Functional can't always be the most pretty....

The best front on a D4 is the factory one... But a Roo will mess up your day...

At the end of the Day, ARB has the runs on the board for holding up to real world animal strikes...

I dont want to "get home" - I want No damage to my vehicle whatsoever...

Having seen other brands flex / fold / bow back into the vehicle causing damage I must say its an eye opener..

City persons and casual offroaders have more options I guess - But people doing serious remote, highway or bush driving just want to survive intact

    BUT..........

It is your right to make your own decision on what suits you and your needs, wants and tastes...

Only you need to like what you do / fit to your vehicle.

    All true but
thought you where on about design and lines of bars

Your choice to change subject. (if it makes your case look better)

I considered it (what ya asked to consider)

    BUTT UGLY all of them.

    We are touchy aren't we

Anyway, I'm over it, no more replies

Have to go and do some serious offroad country highway touring stuff, to justify my arb bar
