Did the bit have a tungsten tip? I've recently bought one but haven't tried it yet.

Has anyone been able to identity genuine economy improvements due to adding a snorkel?
The 'air ram effect' makes sense to me for older carburetted and naturally aspirated engines, but not for our cars?
I only ask cos its a good argument to present to the chairman...

I'll see how my $10 tungsten tip stands up to the task.

For the chairman then yes, for the minister of engineering, sorry no. I've noticed a drop in economy since installing mine.

Umm probably whatever thickness the A pillar is. It isn't soft Steele I can tell you that.

The instructions say to use a specialist drill bit for hard steel. Thickness isn't the issue.

When I was talking to ARB about getting one installed the bloke said that they haven't been able to fit one without breaking a drill bit!
