Correct,mine has rears only & is an absolute PITA in long grass.What were they thinking?The D2 had the switch,maybe a switch could be fitted somehow?

Because I was looking for a geographically embarrassed dog and getting the SIIB out would have meant opening up the truck shed.

So the rear sensor cancel button must be the difference between the SDV6 SE with HiICE and the base model SDV6 HSE. Worth every bit of $10K for that button! :(

(Mrs Ho Har I didn't want one of those electronic wizardry vehicles, and can probably find a few of my posts expressing same, but geez it's nice! :D )

Would it be easier to fix this propblem you have on the farm by leaving the appropriate gate open and let the cows/sheep/hourses fix your reversing senses ?:D

With the farmer now wheelchair bound, running a larger herd to eat all the grass becomes problematic, but yes it makes sense!

While on sensors, when I start up I get a lamp on the a/c facia saying the passengers airbag disabled, this even came on when there was a passenger in the front seat.

Is this a fault or a test sequence?

It is part of the test sequence.

In fact the message only is of relevance to markets where it is legal to disable the front passenger airbag and then put a baby capsule on the front seat. You can read about it in the manual. I don't think this is legal in Australia and we can't disable the air bag.

Yes we can disable the passenger airbag - thats in the manual too(and the Automatics as well Lotza:p) - using the actual key, and it is designed for putting youngsters in the front.

Hence the warning light doing it's test at startup.
