Pushing the highlighted button doesn't work for you?
As said above, it is a one shot deactivation.
The Landrover product web site has a great animated video showing how the whole system works and where the air is routed etc. Every now and then I watch it to remind myself how it works. Definitely 2 separate turbos.

Hmmm ... my 2011 D4 SE with standard audio doesn't have any way that I'm aware of to either disable or quieten the reverse sensors other than hooking a van/trailer on!
Definitely as Brett(discotwinturbo) said for the 3.0 engine - one smaller, one larger turbo. Didn't know there was an animated description on the LR website though!

I have a MY11 2.7 and it definitely has the P||. button to mute the rear/front park distance sensors.
If you have a look on the Landrover Aust D4 website in the e-brochure - it has that button which is the same as is in my RRS.
So, from the comments here - it would seem that not all D4s are equal.

Diana why are you taking the D4 out to the farm...you have several perfect series to drive that don't have the bells and whistles of a D4

Yes - just went out & looked all about + re-read the manual, which of course is written for a HSE model ...
It would appear that it's dependant on the equipment you have in your car. Especially the optional front sensors which I do not!

Les.
ISTR that button is only fitted to D4's if you have front parking sensors as well (not just back ones).

Touche Gordon!
What about the volume feature - only if you have high ice or whatever the upmarket sound is called?

Les.
