Need a L.H. Rear tail light. Suggestions

Had an altercation with the rear of our van -don't ask- we now need a passenger rear tail light assembly. Just the coloured lens actually but I don't thing it will come as a separate part.
Rang the dealer and they want $650+ ??? No hurry have taped it up so it is waterproof, dead lucky only the light damaged. Must be able to source one at a better rate than that, Any suggestions ?

When I was at TRS in Lonsdale SA in january they had about 6 or so wrecked D3's so could be worth a try.

As Ean says, try TRS (08) 8384 6933, they will probably have what you want.

I'm interested to know as well. I have the same thing - random car park damage in my case. I was planning on ebaying it from the US.

    Hi Guys,
They do come up on ebay occasionally, this is a bit hit and miss obviously, I got a set for $300, long gone now or I would have offered them to you. TRS as mentioned they'll help you out, Ian or Phil, they will do the best deal.

Ha, good question! I now need one for my D4 after a bit of fun around Newnes at Easter. Came off an embankment and the Kaymar bar moved upwards coming into contact with the left rear tail light smashing the lense cover. I thought about doing the white trash fix - cellophane until I source a new one!

Been on to TRS no luck, plenty of driver side but no passenger side, very rare for them to have them on the shelf, they are in constant demand.
    Will keep trying.

We had the exact same thing happen to us on our D4, with coming down hard on the Kaymar bar and breaking the lense, we have taped the lense back on as a tempory fix.

We priced the tail light for the D4 at Trivetts Parramatta and they were under $500, your dealer is a crook, ring a Sydney or Melbourne dealer, you might be supprised, I can't see a D3 light being dearer than a D4.
